An interesting note that Senator Stuart home district is the home of Omega Protein.
Regardless if they withdraw Virginia will still need to comply with the ASMFC regulations or the Department of Commerce can shut down the entire fishery for non-compliance.

Beyond chutzpah ! How low can Richmond go ? How much does it cost to buy the State House ?
The two gentlemen who submitted this piece of legislation for consideration should retire now and save themselves the embarressment that will be coming their way in the near future. Tie to start digging into these two gentlemen’s past and look closer at their finances.
Just bring in the Feds to over rule. ASMFC are already including the Feds in their work.
What could be the reasoning behind this move? I understand that their lobbying money will drop drastically since the addendum but they are still governed under the same laws but no longer have a vote. It doesn’t mke sense to me, can someone clarify?
Thank you for keeping everyone informed!
